The University of Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Bengaluru recorded an 86.14% placement rate for the 2025 graduating batch.
A total of 776 offers were made by 254 companies, out of 462 that participated.
This marks a 23.25% rise in offers from the previous year.
The average CTC was ₹9.75 LPA for IT branches, ₹7.77 LPA for core branches, ₹5.28 LPA for Mechanical, and ₹4.62 LPA for Civil. The highest CTC was ₹28.5 LPA.
Despite an increase in intake from 527 to 783 students and higher registration for placements, outcomes remained steady. Major recruiters included Oracle, SAP Labs, Texas Instruments, Bosch, and Philips. The Training and Placement Office focused on broadening recruiter outreach to address changes in hiring trends.
Placement record of 2024 batch
The placement rate for the 2024 batch was 84%.
The highest package offered was ₹26.5 lakh per annum.
For the 2023 batch, the highest package offered was ₹53 lakh per annum.
